| How do I measure the distance from the ball? |
| Step 2 swing positions the golf ball a consistent distance away from the edge of the base-plate. Using statistics from PGA and LPGA tour players, the edge of the base-plate is the closest that the majority of professionals will ever stand from the ball. You can shuffle back up to 4 inches from the base-plate and you are still within the parameters of most of the world’s best golfers. Be sure to find your most comfortable position away from the base-plate and earmark it so you can repeat it every time you practice with Step2swing. |
| Where can I practice using Step2swing? |
| Step 2 swing comes with its own carry bag so you can take it to the course, to the range, or even to your office or home to practice. |
| Will I hit the ball further using Step2swing? |
| With correct use the Step2swing will teach you a more relaxed and flowing swing. Relaxed muscles create more speed in your swing, adding distance to your shots. |
| Will I hit the ball straighter? |
| Step 2 swing aligns parallel to your target. Improved alignment improves your swing path leading to better ball striking and less side spin on your shots. |
| How do I measure ball and foot position? |
| Step 2 swing positions the ball consistently in between color guides on the base-plate. This ball position is consistent with statistics collated from 40 years of tour player studies. We recommend you position your insteps in line with the color guides. If you choose to move your feet to find your own preferred ball and foot position, use the color guides as your reference to consistently repeat it. |
| Should I stand on the base-plate? |
| No. At no point during your routine or swing, should you ever stand on the base-plate or knock the unit with your feet. If you do need to stand closer to the ball, simply move the ball closer to the unit…..We do not recommend you stand closer to the ball than the closest tour players! If this is a recurring issue for you, consult your PGA professional who can check your set-up and your equipment. |
